Inspiration Park - California's First Universally Accessible Park

Help Inspiration Park Become a Reality

Set on a sprawling area of eight acres, the proposed park is the first of its kind- in that all the different features of sports and recreation areas in the park are built ground up for total accessibility. While there are many parks in California that have some features of the park that are disabled friendly, not all features are available to them.

This park is located on Gettysburg and North Vista, making it the only park West of Highway 99 as well.

The City of Fresno already has $7.4 million to build the park. Resources for Independence Central Valley, the lead agency along with its partners will be developing and maintaining the park. This requires nearly $260,000 a year.

$200,000 will be replacement costs for the accessible features. $60,000 will ensure that the park is well maintained and remains in good condition for the coming years…

Be a part of this historical venture…Donations of any amount can be made to honor an individual or group. Donations are also directed to specific features of the park. This could be the Community center, baseball field, dog-park, sensory garden, splash pool among many others.
